Fears about tears? Why crying is good for you
I have always hated to cry. Maybe it is because I look like holy hell when I do cry but more likely it is because I think in conveys weakness and really what good does it do? So when I came upon this article, I was a little bit surprised and wanted to share it with you. Interesting information even if you don't hate to cry.

Post a CommentI always say crying is the perfect way God allows us to vent! Sometimes there's nothing like a good ol' heart-wrenching, give-it-all-you've-got, flood of tears. Yep, my eyes might look like I've gone a couple rounds with Tyson and my nose might give Rudolph a run for his money, but, in the long run, I always feel better. But I have to add, that I also love Tears for Fears. (Sorry, had to add that....
)

I really enjoy reading your articles and I do believe that in some cases crying can be good for you. I just do not like to do it around people because I grew up with thinking that crying was a weakness. I also believe that when a person gets emotionally spent, sometimes you can not even cry because you are so stressed out, I think this is what my problem is.

I cry at commercials but not at funerals. And I hate crying in public. But I can have a good one in private. Go figure. Great article.

I cry at sad movies. My husband and I were weeping when we recently saw Marley & me
how was it. I know the ....***SPOILER ALERT****... dog dies but how is the film in general - i have it on my netflix list.

Marley & Me was just one of those touch your heart kind of movies. didn't think I'd like it or cry - but I did. Btw, Star Trek is another must see! I even boo hoo'd a bit when I saw it
I always cry when I see those commericals about animals abuse on TV. That is one of the many reasons why I stop watching TV.
I cry at all kinds of things; commercials, movies, memories, whatever really.
I totally believe crying can be therapeutic.

Marley is pro dog~ I think the movie was worthwhile; how important compassion & patience can be in relationships & also how our pets play such special roles in our happiness.
I seen Star Trek too. Though I didn't cry I would say great movie. It really is a must see. Haven't watched Marley and Me. Just hate going to a movie and crying.
